Churu recorded a day temperature of 44.3 degrees Celsius, while Bikaner and Jaipur recorded maximums of 42.3 and 41.1 degrees Celsius respectively.
Other parts of the state, too, sweltered at temperatures nudging 40 degrees Celsius.
The MeT department here has predicted dry weather in the state for the next 24 hours.
