Scorching heatwave prevailed at most of the places in Rajasthan today while a slight rise in the maximum temperatures was recorded in some areas.
Sriganganagar for the second consecutive day was recorded hottest with 46.8 degrees Celsius followed by Churu at 46, officials of the weather department said.
Bikaner recorded 45 degrees Celsius, followed by 44.5 at Jaisalmer, 44.3 in Barmer, 44.2 in Kota, 43.7 in Pilani, 43.2 in Jaipur, 43 in Dabok in Jodhopur and 42.1 in Ajmer.
