Light to heavy rain lashed parts of Rajasthan today even as the MeT department has predicted more showers at some isolated places in the state tomorrow.
Atru in Baran recorded maximum of nine cm of rain followed by Behror in Alwar where eight cm of rainfall occurred in the last 24 hours.
Govindgarh in Alwar, Chabra in Baran recorded seven and six cm of rainfall respectively while several other places received below six cm of rain.

Weather remained mainly dry today barring Pilani which received 5.2 mm of rain, according to a Met report.
Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in the eastern parts of the state in the next 24 hours, the weatherman has predicted.

A report from Kota said that a 30-year-old man was swept away in the district.
The man was crossing an inundated overpass along with his two friends over the Ujjad river in Kota district when he was washed away. His friends tried to rescue him but they failed in their attempts due to strong water currents.
Meanwhile, a couple and three others are stranded in two separate flooded places in Baran district, Station House Officer at the Nahargarh police station Satayanarayan Singh said.
He said that rescue teams from Kota were called in to evacuate the stranded persons while a search was launched to trace the missing man.
