Heavy rain likely at one or two places in Bihar tomorrow: Met

With Patna and other parts of Bihar receiving no rain in the last few days, the maximum temperature increased by four notches in the state capital.

Patna recorded the highest maximum temperature at 37 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 36.1 deg C, a Met bulletin said.

Purnea registered a maximum temperature of 36.9 deg C, while it was 36.1 deg C in Gaya and 32.8 deg C in Bhagalpur, it said.

The bulletin said light to moderate rainfall occurred at one or two places in the northern areas of the state, while weather remained mainly dry across rest of Bihar.

The Met department has forecast heavy rain and thundershower at one or two places in the state in the next 24 hours.
