Heavy rainfall at isolated places in Rajasthan

Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Rajasthan while light to moderate rainfall was recorded at most places in Bharatpur and Kota divisions in last 24 hours, the Met department said.

Heavy rains lashed parts of Kota, Ajmer and Udaipur divisions, it said.

Kota, Patan, Bhinay and Kekri recorded 10 cm of rainfall each; Ladpura and Tonk Vanasthali 9 cm, Mandana 8 cm and Rajsamand, Talera, Degod and Anta 7 cm each.

Various places recorded 1 to 5 cm rainfall during in the past 24 hours, the department said.

Maximum temperature in the state's major cities were between 26 and 40 degree Celsius.
 

Sriganganagar was the hottest at 40.6 degree Celsius.

The Met department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at few places in East Rajasthan and isolated places in western parts of the state in the next 24 hours.
