Heavy rain lashed isolated parts of the eastern region of Rajasthan today while light to moderate rains were recorded at several other places in the state.
According to the MeT department, isolated areas of Kota, Udaipur and Jodhpur divisons received heavy rainfall as the south-west monsoon remained active in eastern parts of the state.
Keshoraipatan in Bundi recorded maximum of 14 cm rain followed by Pirawa in Jhalawar which received 11 cm rain and Kota 10 cm rain.

Churu received 50 mm rain, while Jaipur received 17.8 mm, Bikaner 12, Barmer 10.8 mm, Ajmer 1.8 mm and Pilani 1 mm rain.
The MeT department has predicted heavy rainfall in isolated areas of the state tomorrow.
