Normal life was affected as heavy rains continued to lash Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana for the second day today.
Madhira in Khammam district received nine cms of rainfall, followed by Hayatnagar (7 cms) in Rangareddy district, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The incessant rain led to water-logging on roads at several places here.

Hyderabad received 60.2 mm of rainfall today, according to the IMD.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) said in a release that rain water on roads was drained out by its personnel at different places.
The process of demolishing old structures (which are found unsafe) is going on and notices have been issued to residents of some other old buildings to vacate them, it said.
Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of Telangana, the IMD said.
Saying that water logging was a common sight in the city, Leader of Opposition (Congress) in state Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir alleged that the TRS government has failed in its promise to make the city free of traffic snarls.
