Heavy rains drenched parts of Himachal Pradesh even as the weatherman has predicted more rainfall this week.
Jubbar Hatti gauged 21 mm of rains, Dharamsala got 18 mm, Mashobra 6 mm and Nauni 4 mm of precipitation since yesterday. The rains led to a slight drop in the maximum temperature.
The MeT office has forecast "heavy rains" in a few places in lower, mid and higher hills this week.
The state is facing a five per cent rain deficit. It has so far received 157.8 mm rains against normal 166.4 mm of rainfall.
