Heavy rains lashed several parts of Himachal Pradesh as monsoon remained active in mid and lower hills.
Jogindernagar, Baijnath and Palampur received 130 mm, 124 mm and 90 mm rains while state capital Shimla got 70 mm rains till this evening.
Banjar in Kullu district had 50 mm rains while, Guler 49 mm rains, followed by Dharamshala 43 mm, Bajura and Bhuntar 37 mm, Nahan 22 mm, Gaggal 21 mm and Seobagh 17 mm.

Una was hottest during the night with minimum temperature at 25.0 deg C while Sundernagar and Chamba recorded a low of 23.1 deg C and 22.1 deg C, Nahan 18.4 deg C, Shimla 17.1 deg C and Solan 16.5 deg C.
The local MeT office has predicted rains and thundershowers at several places in the state during next 48 hours.
