Heavy rains were recorded in Kotkasim and Tijara towns of the Alwar district in Rajasthan in last 24 hours, the Met department said, adding moderate rainfall was likely at a few places in eastern parts of the state.
Kotkasim and Tijara recorded 14 cm rainfall each followed by 5 cm each in Pahadi and Tapukada. Various other places recorded rainfall ranging from 1 cm to 4 cm during last 24 hours, the Met department said.
It has forecast light to moderate rainfall at a few places in eastern parts of the state in next 24 hours.
