Heavy security was in place outside the Jawaharlal Nehru University administration block as the institute's officials, including the vice-chancellor joined office, following the Delhi High Court order directing the police to provide security on campus.
Policemen in plain clothes were present outside the administration block while security personnel from the university were not allowing entry in the building without valid identity cards.
The Delhi High Court had directed Delhi Police to provide security to university officials when they enter the administration block.
