Heavy to moderate rainfall in parts of Rajasthan

Many places in Rajasthan received heavy to moderate rains since yesterday, with Kotri in Bhilwara being the wettest recording 15 cm of rainfall, a meteorological department official said.

Kumher in Bharatpur received 13 cm of rains, followed by Gangrar and Mandalgarh each 11 cm, Jhalarapatan 10 cm, Kota, Mount Abu, Bhim, Dungarpur and Bhilwara 9 cm each.

Various other places recorded one to 8 cm rainfall since yesterday.

Today, Kota recorded 3.7 mm of rains, followed by Churu 2.2mm, Pilani 1.1 mm and Barmer 0.3 mm.

The weatherman has predicted heavy rainfall in most of the places of east Rajasthan and light to moderate rainfall at a few places in western parts of the state.
