Veteran actress Helen Mirren is heading to cinemas as Queen Elizabeth II for a second time after producers of her new play agreed to film the production for the big screen.
Mirren, 66, who won an Oscar for her lead role in 2006 film 'The Queen', has reprised her role as the monarch for a new theatre production called 'The Audience', reported Daily Star.
The West End play is currently in previews ahead of opening night on March 5 and has already sold a massive 4 million pounds in tickets, prompting producers to bring the play to cinemas.
The play will be screened live from London's Gielgud Theatre on June 13 and broadcast to cinemas around the country.

It will also be shown to international audiences, with screenings planned for the US, Canada, Australia and India, among others.
