Helena Bonham Carter is in negotiations to reprise her role as the evil Red Queen in Disney's 'Through The Looking Glass', the sequel to 2010's 'Alice In Wonderland'.

If the deal comes through, Carter, 47, will join other original cast members Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska for the film, being directed by James Bobin and Joe Roth returning as producer, reported Variety.

The film is slated to release on May 27, 2016.

It is not clear whether other original cast members like Anne Hathaway and Alan Rickman will reprise their roles.

'Alice In Wonderland' earned more than a billion dollars at the box office.

It is not the only fairytale that is keeping Carter busy as she is also starring in Disney's 'Cinderella' where she plays Fairy Godmother.

'Wonderland' was directed by Carter's partner Tim Burton.
