The city-based Indian fast food chain Hello Curry today announced acquisition of technology company Fire42.
Raju Bhupati, CEO, Hello Curry, and Santosh Achari, founder/CEO of Fire42, said in a statement that it was a cash and stock deal.
Fire42, a city-based firm, has developed cloud and mobile based restaurant management systems.

Using Fire 42 tools, a restaurant owner can keep track of sales and promotions, inventory, compare historical trends and manage customer loyalty programs. The platform enables restaurants to link their offerings to major online ordering and couponing services as well, the statement said.
"Fire42 as a platform has handled over 1 million orders, and helped serve over 3 lakh customers for various restaurant clients," Santosh said.
Bhupati said, "As Hello Curry is rapidly growing across India, having a good in-house technology team and tool-set is a must to support our expansion."
Post the acquisition, Achari will join the Hello Curry senior management, the statement added.
