The actress opened Neeta's show, titled 'Radha', with a brief Kathak performance with a male dancer accompanying her as Lord Krishna.
The diva was draped in a traditional dark purple lehenga with thick border and minimal accessories.
On her association with Hema, Neeta said, "I had no clue what made me go with Hemaji. It was not difficult to convince her. When I approached her she agreed readily. I think I had Lord Krishna on my side and hence things fell into place".
"I have dressed her since 10 to 12 years but this idea that I could do something like this never struck me. I think there is right time for everything. I never planned it," she said.
As the name 'Radha' goes, the collection was woven around the traditional theme wherein lehengas and cholis in contrasting shades like bright red, peacock green, bright pink, blue were displayed.
"She (Radha) is always worshiped. Whether it is India or any part of the country she is dressed in various avatars all over the place. That was the theme for my collection. Through colour schemes and style we wanted to show love and add eternal romantic appeal to it," Neeta said.
