"Crazy Rich Asians" actor Henry Golding has been cast as lead in Paul Feig's upcoming thriller "A Simple Favor".
Golding will star alongside Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick in the movie, written by Jessica Sharzer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The script is based on Darcey Bell's book of the same name.
The story follows mommy blogger Stephanie (Kendrick), who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily's (Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town.
The film is expected to begin shooting from August 14 in Toronto.
Feig and Jessie Henderson are producing through their FeigCo banner.
