A car was intercepted near Talwara Jattan and during the checking heroin was recovered from the four persons present in the vehicle, Pathankot SSP Surinder Kumar Kalia said.
Nasar Ahmed, Javed, Gulzar Ahmed all residents of Jammu and Kashmir and Bansi Lal of Mamoon village in Pathankot were arrested, he said.
According to preliminary investigations, the four arrested were a part of an inter-state gang involved in smuggling of drugs, he said.
