Heroin worth Rs 7.5 crore has been seized from two persons in separate cases in the neighbouring Tarn Taran district, police said today.
The total weight of the drug seized is 1.5 kg.
Police arrested Karamjit Singh today and recovered 1 kg heroin from him, Superintendent of Police Harvinder Singh Sandhu said.
In another case, half a kg heroin was seized from Gurjeet Singh, who was arrested around a week ago, he said.
