BSF has seized 14 kgs of heroin, worth Rs 70 crore in the international black market, from the Indo-Pak border here.
BSF officials noticed suspicious movement of Pakistani intruders last night at Dhariwal Border Out Post (BOP) and the force's night patrolling party challenged them, a Border Security Force official said.
The officials repeatedly asked them to surrender, but they kept on marching towards Indian side and started firing on the BSF party, the official said.

BSF personnel retaliated with heavy firing, whereupon the intruders escaped back to Pakistan, he said.
A search operation was launched, during which 14 kgs of heroin in different packets was found on the spot, he said.
