Kamal Haasan feels nostalgic as his 2000 period crime drama "Hey Ram", also starring Shah Rukh Khan, has turns 16 today.
The 61-year-old actor took to Twitter to thank his fans and the crew, who made his directorial venture possible.
"Touched by Hey Ram fans celebrating 16 yrs. Remember all who made it possible. Especially Shah Rukh Khan and Bharat Shah," he tweeted.

The "Vishwaroopam" actor, who also starred in "Hey Ram" besides calling the shots, said he would soon post the video of Gokhale's performance for his fans.
"One day I wish to showcase late Mohan Gokhale's performance for all to see. A day before he died I told him he might win awards for his role... He died after completing 90 per cent of his work. Loved MG."
Legendary composer Ilayaraja had composed the music for the film, which was simultaneously made in Tamil and Hindi.
"The happier note to making of 'Hey Ram' came from Ilayaraja, who rescued the music of 'Hey Ram' from wrong hands. A case study in film scoring," Haasan tweeted.
"Hey Ram" had an ensemble cast of Rani Mukerji, Hema Malini, Abbas, Girish Karnad, Vasundhara Das, Nasseruddin Shah among others.
