Hinduja Global Solutions today said it will expand operations in Mysore, creating 300 new jobs by year-end.

"The centre will add 300 new jobs for customer care support by December, 2016... The new recruits will provide voice-based customer care support in Kannada and English languages," HGS said in a statement.

The company recently won a contract from a global e-tailer to support their customers from Mysore.

"Mysuru has a huge talent base of graduates and HGS is looking to leverage this pool to provide comprehensive customer experience solutions to our clients," it said.

HGS forayed into Mysore in 2006 with 120 employees supporting a telecom giant, and has steadily expanded its delivery capability.

Currently, the company has over 600 people in the city, providing a range of services including voice support.
