The mercury hovered below normal levels under a clear sky in the national capital today even as high humid conditions made it tough for Delhiites.
The maximum temperature rose to settle at 38.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 24.7 degrees, three notches below the normal, said a Met Department official.
High levels of humidity persisted oscillating between 90 and 44 per cent.

The city did not receive rain between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM.
As per the Met forecast, light rains along with a thunderstorm can occur at night.
The Met Office has predicted mainly clear sky from afternoon onwards.
"Partly cloudy skies will turn mainly clear skies and haze is likely in the evening. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 41 and 27 degrees respectively," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 23 degrees Celsius.
