A high-level panel today cleared an ambitious Rs 1,629-crore golf course project at Achrol village in Jaipur district of Rajasthan.
The project, which is estimated to cost Rs 1,629 crore, would have an international level golf course, convention and exhibition centres, and hotels.
The empowered committee of infrastructure development chaired by chief secretary C S Rajan cleared the project at Achrol village in the district.

It would be developed on PPP mode, an official said.
The area where the project would come up is under Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) region on Jaipur-Delhi highway, Commissioner JDA Shikar Agrawal said.
The project to be developed on 167 acres land will promote tourism and would become a centre point of national and international golf competitions, he said.
