Crude palm oil down by 0.4% on muted demand

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil prices fell by 0.45 per cent to Rs 395.90 per 10 kg in futures trade today amid higher supplies from growing regions and muted domestic demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in December dropped Rs 1.80, or 0.45 per cent, to Rs 395.90 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 137 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November shed 10 paise, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 381.20 per 10 kg in 88 lots.

Marketmen said offloading of positions by participants amid higher supplies from producing belts at spot market against muted demand mainly led to decline in crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
