Ahead of the Budget session of the Bihar Assembly, Speaker Vijay Chaudhary today asked mediapersons to highlight issues related to public interest instead of focusing on disruption and pandemonium in the House.
"Besides reporting 'halla-gulla' (disruption) and pandemonium in the House, it would be welcome step if the media more prominently highlights the business of the House that could not be taken up due to such activities," Chaudhary said.
He was speaking during an interaction with mediapersons on how to lift the standard of Legislative business.

"My concern is that positive issues like questions and debate on critical subjects get less space than disruptions, sloganeering and trooping into the the well of the House by members of all political parties," the Speaker said.
The Assembly Secretariat would provide the list of questions and other items listed for a day at least 36 hours in advance, he said.
The Budget session of the State Assembly, which is slated to start from February 25 would be a new beginning, Chaudhary said.
