The 24-year-old, who recently gave birth to baby boy Luca Cruz with husband Mike Comrie, has signed a talent/development deal with 20th Century Fox TV, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Ok it's official! Very excited about my development deal with 20th century fox (sic)!! TV here I come!" Duff posted on her Twitter page.
Under the deal, she is attached to star on and produce a half-hour comedy project.
Since making her breakthrough in the Disney Channel teen series, Duff has starred in a bunch of films, including "A Cinderella Story" and "Material Girls".
She also recurred in season 3 of "Gossip Girl" as Olivia Burke and guest starred in an episode of "Community".
