BJP today said Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh should step down from the post in the wake of the Enforcement Directorate arresting his LIC agent and sending summons to his wife in a money laundering case.

"The Chief Minister is levelling wild allegations against BJP. He is crossing all limits of decency but we will not tolerate the use of abusive and intemperatelanguage against the party," BJP's chief whip Suresh Bhardwaj told reporters.

"The governance and decision making process is in a complete mess as the Chief Minister has lost grip over the administration and after the arrest of his LIC agent Anand Chauhan and summoning of his wife, Pratibha Singh, by ED in the money laundering case, it is high time that he takes a break," he said.

Bhardwaj said that governancehas become a casualty under the present government which is being run by "tired, retired and hired" people.
