Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi today asked the party's Himachal Pradesh unit to help strengthen the organisation and create a mechanism for redressal of public grievances as he had a meeting with Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.
Sources said Rahul also asked the party leaders to review the manifesto and ensure that the promises made to people ahead of assembly elections are fulfilled.
He also asked the partymen to reach out to people at the grassroots and help redress their grievances.

Singh, who was accompanied by HP Congress unit chief Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, explained to their leader achievements of the state government and promises fulfilled so far.
Rahul heard the leaders during the review meeting and asked them to help involve everyone in the party's work.
Ambika Soni, Congress incharge of Himachal Pradesh affairs, was also present at the meeting.
Congress had won the assembly polls in 2012. Fresh polls are due in 2017.
