Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Dev Vrat today met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed with him various issues concerning the state.
The meeting took place on a day when Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Virbhadra Singh was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate here in connection with a money laundering case registered against him and others.
The Governor is learnt to have apprised the Home Minister about political situation in the hill state, where assembly election is due later this year, official sources said.
The Governor also met Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju and discussed with him issues related to the state, particularly development activities initiated along the international border, sources said.
