Himachal Pradesh High Court today reserved its judgement on a petition filed by BJP MP Anurag Thakur-led Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association seeking quashing of FIR against it under Prevention of Corruption Act.

Single bench of HC consisting of acting chief justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir reserved the order after hearing the arguments of both parties -- HPCA and the state government.

HPCA pleaded that the FIR was "vague, malicious and a result of political vendetta", while the advocate general representing the state government maintained that the investigations have been completed and charge-sheet is ready.

In another petition of HPCA to implead chief minister Virbhadra Singh and three government officials as respondents, a division bench adjourned the matter till April 29.

The Supreme Court last month had asked the High Court to reconsider HPCA's plea to implead the chief minister and others in the case.
