Himachal Pradesh HC acting Chief justice felicitates 150 children on I-Day

Acting Chief Justice Sanjay Karol unfurled the national flag and inspected the Guard of Honour during Independence Day celebrations in the Himachal Pradesh High Court today.

Justice Karol, who is also the executive chairman of the Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (HPLSA), facilitated 150 children of Rockwood School, Shimla and Balika Ashram, Tutikandi by presenting mementos under Child Friendly Legal Services to Children and their Protection Scheme, 2015 of National Legal Services Authority of India (NALSA).

HPLSA Member Secretary Prem Pal Ranta was also present on the occasion.

HC judges Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Sureshwar Thakur, Vivek Singh Thakur, Ajay Mohan Goel and Chander Bhusan Barowalia were also present.

 

The officials of the High Court Registry, HPSLSA, District Courts Shimla, Office of the Advocate General, Advocates and officials of other offices based in the H.P. High Court participated in the programme.

Former HC Judges V P Bhatnagar, D P Sood, R K Mahajan, A K Goel, P S Rana, Registrar General Rajeev Bhardwaj, Registrar Vigilance Arvind Malhotra, Registrar Judicial JK Sharma were also present.

Meanwhile, Chairman HP State Administrative Tribunal Justice VK Sharma unfurled the national flag on Independence Day function organised in the premises of State Administrative Tribunal, Shimla.

Registrar Sunita Kapta and other officials of the Tribunal participated in the celebrations.
