Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages expects to close the current calendar year with a robust growth in terms of volume in the domestic market, a top official said today.
The company has registered a growth of six per cent in terms of volume in the first quarter of the current year. The company will declare its results for the ongoing quarter in July.
"We are very much optimistic about the year and we do expect to get back to robust growth during the current calendar year," Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Chief Executive T Krishnakumar said here today.

In its bid to achieve robust growth, the company has adopted a two-pronged strategy.
"We are doing two things. We are increasing the choice to consumers by launching new flavours and new categories. For example, we have launched a range of Minute Maid juices. We now have mixed fruits and apple which we have made national ones," he said.
The company has launched two new flavours namely apple and black grape under the brand Fanta. It has also revived its existing brand called Rimjhim.
Moreover, the company is in an investment mode in the country, a process which was kick-started in 2012.
"Out of our plans to invest USD 5 billion here, we have invested USD 1.4 billion so far. The remaining will be spent by 2020.
