RSS leader Manmohan Vaidya on Tuesday termed Hindutva a spiritual democracy and said followers of other religions also participate in various Shakhas of the organisation across the country.
"Hindutva is a spiritual democracy. There have been talks of intolerance in the country but those who had been consistently intolerant are talking about intolerance," he said.
He said that there are several RSS Shakhas in the country where followers of other religions also participate.
Vaidya said "there is no difference between the ideology of RSS and PM Narendra Modi".
Vaidya was addressing a ceremony after dedication of the building of a magazine in Malvianagar area here.
Film director and script writer Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (Bhopal), Brij Kishore Kuthiala and others were present on the occasion.
