HIPA to hold training programme for central officers

The 88th Special Foundation Training programme for central services officers is set to begin tomorrow at the Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) in Gurgaon.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would inaugurate the event which would see 80 officers from various central services, including IAS, IPS and IFS, taking part.

The course aims to equip participating officers with the skills to tackle various challenges, said HIPA Director General, RS Dalal, adding that, in 2012-13, the institute has trained more than 8,000 officers from various departments.
