Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi today said he was happy with the demonetisation drive amid reports that his upcoming film "Wajah Tum Ho" would be released two weeks late due to the ongoing cash crunch.

"Though I don't know yet the impact of demonetisation, a calling from my heart says it was right (decision). I am happy with demonetisation," Sharma told reporters here.

"Wajah Tum Ho", directed by Vishal Pandya, was scheduled to hit theatres on December 2, but its release has been pushed forward by two weeks (December 16) apparently due to the prevailing currency crunch arising out of the scrapping of old 500 and 1,000 rupee denomination notes.

The 37-year-old actor is essaying the role of a police officer in the crime thriller.
