Hisar hottest at 40.2 C as temp hover above normal in Pb, Hry

Maximum temperatures hovered above normal at most places in Haryana and neighbouring Punjab today.

Hisar in Haryana recorded a maximum temperature of 40.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal, a MeT Department report said.

Residents of Ambala and Chandigarh braved a hot day at 39.1 and 38.2 degrees Celsius respectively, up by three degrees in both the cases.

In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a high of 37.4 degrees Celsius, three degrees more than normal limits.

The maximum temperature in Ludhiana and Patiala settled at 38.8 degrees Celsius and 38.7 degrees Celsius respectively, up three notches at both the places.
