Hit-and-run: Man killed by speeding car in south Delhi

In a case of hit-and-run, a 27- year-old man died and three others were injured when they were hit allegedly by a speeding car today in south Delhi's Saket, police said.

The car first hit two pedestrians, Dinesh and Mahavir, near Asian Market. Later, the driver started driving towards Sector 1 Pushp Vihar, they said.

When the accused was driving towards Khoka market in a "rash and negligent" manner, he hit a motorcycle being ridden by two brothers, the police said.

Surender (29) and his brother Narender (27), who was riding pillion, were taken to the hospital where Narender was declared brought dead, they said.
 

The accused driver fled from the spot and the police do not have the registration number of his vehicle, they added.
