Bishnoi alleged that over 70 per cent of the total state revenue was being "arbitrarily" spent on development works in the Chief Minister's hometown, Rohtak, alone adding more than 80 per cent of the state jobs were being doled out to Rohtak youths, much to the dismay of youths of other districts.

Alleging "utter neglect" of South Haryana in the matters of development during the Hooda regime, Bishnoi reiterated his commitment for a fair deal to South Haryana's peasantry which, he claimed, had started receiving canal water only in the tenure of his late father and former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal.

Bishnoi also criticised Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) chief Om Prakash Chautala for his "corrupt practices" which, he said, could land him in jail before the next assembly polls.
