A centre of HLL-Hindlabs, which offers scan facilities at a discounted rates, would be opened at Sree Avittom Thirunal Hospital here on September 13.
Hindlabs, an initiative of HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL) had previously established scan centres in Kozhikode, Thrissur, Alappuzha and Kottayam to offer facilities at discounted prices.
Kerala Minister for Health and Social Justice K K Shailaja Teacher and Minister for Devaswom and Tourism and Cooperation Kadakamapally Surendran would inaugurate the MRI and CT scan centres respectively, an official release said here.

The new Hindlabs centre with an investment of Rs 11.30 crore is equipped with 1.5 Tesla MRI scan machines and CT scan, with 128 slices, would provide essential diagnostic services to patients of Medical College Hospital, SAT, Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) and other outpatients.
