Disney is working on reviving 1993 cult film "Hocus Pocus" as a TV movie.
The film, currently in the early stages of development is a reimagining of the original that featured Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy.
"The Royals" fame Scarlett Lacey is writing the new take of the movie while David Kirschner is on board to executive produce, reported Deadline.

Neil Cuthbert and Mick Garris wrote the original film, which was based on a story by Garris and Kirschner, and directed by Kenny Ortega.
The TV movie will likely have a new cast and director. The story featured three villainous witches, played by Midler, Najimy and Parker, who are esurrected in Salem, Massachusetts.
