Hoffenheim players visit children's home in Goa

The players of Bundesliga outfit TSG 1899 Hoffenheim today visited a children's home at Assagao as part of their Goa tour today.

The German team are in Goa as part of their India tour organised by Adamant Sports. They had already visited Mizoram and Kolkata.

The visit at the children's home was organised in association with Churchill Brothers and SAP.

Hoffenheim players Niklas Sule and Kevin Akpoguma as well as assistant coach Frank Frohling and Ottmar Rosch along with Churchill Brothers winger Alesh Sawant interacted with the children at the El Sheddai House of Katheleen Home.

The players were pleased to notice the work carried out by the volunteers of El Sheddai in helping to educate street children as well as providing them with shelter.
 

They also played a small game with the children and distributed Hoffenheim merchandise to them.

Laxman Chawan, Treasurer of El Sheddai Sports Club, thanked the players for coming to the shelter and said, "It's great to have a big European team like SG 1899 Hoffenheim and visit us and ensuring the children have a good time."

Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule said, "The children had a good time and so did we. Hopefully we could provide a little bit of inspiration to them."

Churchill Brothers Goa winger Alesh Sawant said, "I am glad that our team was part of this event and really happy that we brought smiles to the faces of all the children at the shelter.
