'Holla Mohalla' festival ends in Punjab

The three-day Holla Mohalla festival concluded today with nearly 20 lakh devotees taking part in the procession taken out from Takht Kesgharh Sahib to Gurdawara Manji Sahib.

Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh led the procession and was accompanied by Jathedar of Takht Kesgarh Sahib, Mal Singh.

Jathedar Balbir Singh led Budha Dal of Nihangs, a prestigious armed Sikh order, which displayed martial art of Gatka during the procession. They also performed horse race and traditional Sikh games at the end of 'Mohalla' (procession).

Sikh devotees from across the globe participated in the festival and also sprayed colours on each other.
 

Notably, various political parties, including Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), Akali Dal (Amritsar), Congress and Aam Aadmi Party also held conferences during the festival.
