Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde will visit Russia for three days beginning Wednesday during which both sides will discuss issues relating to trans-national terrorism, combating of drug-trafficking and sign a pact on disaster management.
Shinde, who will be accompanied by Home Secretary R K Singh and other senior officials, will meet Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Minister of Emergency Situation (Disaster Management) Vladimir Puchkov and Director (Minister-rank) of the Federal Narcotics Service of Russia Viktor Ivanov.
"The Home Minister will hold delegation-level talks separately with three Russian Ministers on various security- related issues of mutual interest, including the issues relating to trans-national terrorism, disaster management and combating of drug-trafficking in the international context," a Home Ministry spokesperson said.

The Home Minister and the Russian Federation for Disaster Management Minister will ink a regulation defining the structure, function and procedure of the Joint Commission which was established by an agreement signed on December 21, 2010 in New Delhi in the area of Emergency Management.
The agreement will enable both the countries to help each other in the field of Disaster Management (Emergency Management), the spokesperson said.
