The Honda Cars India Ltd has decided to expand its dealer network by 35 per cent.
The Company will increase it to 230 facilities in 150 cities by the end of this financial year, said Jnasheswar Sen, senior Vice President (Marketing and Sales) of the company.
Speaking to reporters here today, he said the company presently has 195 dealers in 127 cities of the country.

The company riding on the success of the 4th generation Honda City, Honda Amaze and the newly launched Honda Mobilio, has registered an overall growth of 48% during the period April-September 2014 with 88,200 units being sold in India, he said.
He said that North India contributes to more than 27% of the HCIL sales and is witnessing similar growth in the current fiscal year.
In reply to a question, Sen claimed that with the fall in the prices of petrol and narrowing of gap between the prices of diesel and petrol there was no scope for reducing the cost of diesel vehicles.
However, he said the customers have again started taking more interest in buying petrol vehicles.
