Honeywell has appointed Vikas Chadha as President of India operations with effect from August 1, 2016.
Chadha will take over from Anant Maheshwari, who held a series of leadership roles with the company during the past 12 years.
Chadha, who is the Managing Director, Honeywell Automation India Ltd (HAIL), will assume responsibility as country leader for Honeywell India effective from August 1, 2016, Honeywell said in a statement.

Commenting on the development, Honeywell Global High Growth Regions President Shane Tedjarati said: "Vikas takes over a very strong Honeywell India business that is an important part of our company's manufacturing, engineering and software development strategies."
Chadha, who is with Honeywell for seven years, has served as HAIL Managing Director from January 1, 2014.
"A successor to Chadha will soon be named," the statement said.
Meanwhile, HAIL in a regulatory filing to BSE informed that both Chadha and Maheshwari have tendered their resignations as director of the company.
"The resignations of Vikas Chadha and Anant Maheshwari have been noted and accepted by the Board of Directors vide board resolutions dated July 12, 2016," said HAIL.
