BJP national vice-president Avinash Rai Khanna has proposed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh that photographs and a brief introduction of martyred paramilitary soldiers should be displayed in the institutions they had studied.
Khanna, also the vice chairman of the Indian red Cross Society, proposed this to Modi and Singh in a letter.
He wrote that doing so will honour "the memories of (the) martyred soldiers".
Khanna, according to a press release here today, also requested in the letter that necessary directions to all state governments may be issued to implement the proposal.
