Addressing complaints from BPL households, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today directed authorities to reverify such households so that proper recoveries are made from non-BPL families who wrongly benefited from the schemes.
While reviewing the progress of various development programmes and welfare schemes of the Urban Local Bodies, Rural Development and Panchayats departments here, the Chief Minister was informed about recoveries being made from BPL families, who were the rightful beneficiaries of the schemes, an official spokesperson said.
Families which were not eligible for the scheme had wrongly received benefits, to which the BPL household had objection.
The spokesperson said Hooda has directed to reverify all the cases, adding, that till then no recovery should be made from the families to avoid injustice to anyone.
