Zurich-based global think tank Horasis is set to hold its first Asia meet in India at Kolkata, which is expected to see industry experts and political personalities in attendance.
The two-day meet would be held on November 26 and 27.
Shaswat Goenka, President of Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), one of the organising partners, said, "This will be Asia's foremost gathering of the region's business and government representatives, and would deliberate on exploring growth and regional cooperation."

Among those attending the meet are West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu, ITC CEO Sanjiv Puri, Sanjiv Goenka of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant, Mohan Das Pai of Manipal Global Foundation, Bangladesh Commerce Minister Tofael Ahmed, Dilip Piramal, chairman of VIP Industries, among others.
Representatives from China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong SAR, Japan and other Asian countries would also participate in the event, Shaswat Goenka added.
