Around 70,000 visitors, including foreign, domestic and local tourists have witnessed the first four-days of the 10-day long Hornbill Festival 2016 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
Hornbill Festival, also christened the Festival of festivals showcasing the coming together of the different Naga tribes, is a 10-day long annual event of the state government organised by Tourism Department and other allied departments.
Till the fourth-day today, a total of 63,929 visitors, including 757 foreigner tourists, 7396 domestic and 55,776 locals witnessed the festival, according to an official statistics issued by Tourist Officer of the Department of Tourism, Toka E. Tuccumi here.

Meanwhile, Tourism officials said the number in all the categories of visitors will be more but since many reaches the main venue in cars with passes, they are not counted at the gate and therefore their records are not available.
